TAHITI: currency and lodging

So, Tahiti looks like its going to be on the expensive side. So, with that in mind, I'm looking into figuring out where to stay for (relatively) cheap, and how much prices for things are.

So far, the place to stay looks to be Chez Nelson on the neighboring island of Moorea.

And, while it seems to be difficult to pin down a how much the FCP is worth it looks to be 100 to $1 (or, 1000 = $10) as a rough guide.
